Joseph L. Allen

Joseph L. Allen earned his Ph.D. from Brigham Young University in Ancient and Modern Scripture with an emphasis in Mesoamerica and the Book of Mormon. A popular teacher and lecturer, Dr. Allen served in the Church Educational System for 18 years.

Joseph has authored the best selling books Exploring the Lands of the Book of Mormon and Sacred Sites,which present detailed analyses and studies of discovered archaeological finds with proposed Book of Mormon sites. In 1970, he founded Book of Mormon Tours with his wife Rhoda. Since then along with his sons Blake and Todd, Book of Mormon Tours has handled over 400 groups to Mesoamerica.

Blake J. Allen

Blake J. Allen first traveled to the Book of Mormon lands when at the age of 10 he accompanied his father to Mexico City as Dr. Allen was doing research at the famous Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology for his Doctorate Dissertation. He spent his teen-age years assisting Dr. Allen with summer student tours to the Book of Mormon lands before serving his mission in Chile.

Blake earned his degree from Southern Utah State College in Cedar City, Utah and has since escorted over 50 tours to the ancient sites of Mesoamerica. His continuing study in Mesoamerica history, culture and language combined with his knowledge of the Book of Mormon has made him a favorite among those traveling to the Book of Mormon lands.

Blake lives in Orem, Utah with his wife Marion, and their six children.

Todd B. Allen

Todd B. Allen began giving tours of downtown Mexico City when he was just 10 years old, and has been fully escorting tours to the Book of Mormon lands for the past 15 years as he has led over 70 tours to this area. As an avid student of Mexico and Central America's geography, history and linguistic studies.

Todd has attended several Maya symposiums and round tables, and has been a popular speaker at conventions and LDS firesides. He has also published several articles on evidences relating to the Book of Mormon lands.

Todd's extensive knowledge and experience combined with his talent for teaching and sense of humor has delighted hundreds of LDS members and nonmembers alike that have traveled with him to the Book of Mormon lands.

Todd lives in Spanish Fork, Utah with his wife Taunya, and their three children.
